This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on wyza.ai, Wyza Studio and Wyza Poll. We keep them to what we need to run the service and understand how it is used. We do not use advertising cookies on our website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. Some are set by us (first-party); some by services we use (third-party).
2. Essential
These keep you signed in and keep the service secure. The site does not work without them, so they cannot be switched off.
- Sign-in session (cookies starting with
sb-): keep you signed in to Studio and Poll. They last until you sign out or the session expires. - Security and fraud checks: when you take part in a study, we record device and network signals to stop duplicate and fraudulent responses.
3. Analytics
These tell us which pages are visited and how the product is used, so we can improve it. They do not identify you to us by name.
- Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*): counts visits and traffic sources. Lasts up to 2 years. - PostHog (
ph_*): product usage, such as which features are used and whether the launch film is watched. Lasts up to 1 year. We switch off automatic capture, so what you type is never recorded.
4. Preferences
Local storage remembers small choices, such as where you stopped in a video or which tab you had open. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
5. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out. To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, use Google's opt-out add-on.
6. Changes and contact
We update this page when the cookies we use change. For questions, email privacy@wyza.ai. See also our Privacy Policy.
